Anna Marie Quattrocchi, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born November 9, 1935 to Pete and Emma Parrish.

Anna was an avid wrestling fan. Her happiest moments were sitting ringside, yelling at the ref, who had just missed the heel do something illegal. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially Crandon Martin, who lived with her. Anna’s strong will, determination, and refusal to accept nonsense is the cornerstone of what has kept her family close.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Quattrocchi; sons Tim and Dwight Parrish; 6 brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by her children Rose, Frank, David, Melissa, Darryl, and Danny; grandchildren Chad Grayless, Karl, Brandy, Tina, Darrel, Dusty, Daniel, David, Nelson, Justin, Julie, Karen, Melody, Richie, Ryan, Kayla, Alisia, Logan, Tony; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016, at The Point Church and Community Center, 2578 Donica Road, Greenwood. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis.

I miss you Grandma. Thank you for all of the great times and fond memories. It will be tough knowing you won’t be here anymore, but it would be selfish to keep you with us. You were called upon as you were needed elsewhere; I just hope you rest easy now that your pain is behind you.

I will miss you now and forever, but we will see each other again.

    Goodnight Grandma 🙁

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Anna. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.

Grandma , If anyone lived forever we all thought it would be you. Darryl did a great job grandma you d be proud as it is one of the hardest things a child can do for their parent. As you even said urself u had many kids and way more grandkids it just thinned u out and u loved hem all. So much fun and laughter. You always was about fun & laughter and being together as a family. You was a perfect example of how a mother who lost their husband as all ur kids was young and can raise children who can become the most loving caring men in the world ( as dad was and still is ).Being one of the oldest of grandkids I remember when u was still young and was full of life and would walk miles carrying me on your hips to catch a bus or just for a walk. Or even when u wasn’t so healthy still making it to be thier for me when I cried for my grandma ( you) as I was in labor with my own children and feed me ice chips and told me everything would be okay. Your with Dad & Dwight now as we know your in the best hands and all love !!! Family loves unconditionally you taught us that whether you made us laugh, mad, cry we always loved you unconditionally . Blessed to have a protective loving grandma who was so smart and young at heart. Enjoy life in heaven grandma !!!! We all gotta be good down here on earth so we all can meet again…….. I love you and ya we got our own specials things between us !!! Grandma take snuggles and bouncer on walks with you and snuggles sleeps very still in bed and loves the sounds of a fan , be perfect to rest with .
